I am 37 years old, I tried to conceive through IUI for almost a year. I was using fertility drugs because my doctor at the time said it was impossible for me to get pregnant without them. Once my insurance to cover the medications ran out, I decided to try acupuncture with Dr.Ying. My FSH level was 24, my doctor told me I was premenopausal. I asked Dr.Ying if I could still get pregnant and she said yes. She started giving me Chinese herbs, my day3 FSH went down to 13 within 2 months after acupuncture treatment and herbs. After 4 months I became pregnant without fertility drugs, my doctor was shocked that I got pregnant after seeing Dr.Ying.

My 10 year old son Daniel had suffered bouts with tics on and off since 1st grade. It was a mild blinking and it never lasted more than a few weeks. We took him to pediatricians, eye doctors and neurologists and they assured us that it was nothing more than adolescent tics and that he would most likely grow out them by the time he was 11. We were not overly concerned since it did not seem to bother Daniel.

Last year we noticed that the tic seemed to occur more frequently and then it started getting significantly worse. It appeared as if it was “spreading” to other parts of his body. It became chronic. Daniel would move his mouth from side to side. Then he started opening and closing his jaw. He also moved his neck side to side. We consulted a neurologist to rule out anything more serious. The neurologist did not seem very concerned and felt it was not impeding his ability to function. He believed the tics were most likely stress related. He refused to prescribe Daniel any medication because he felt it was not warranted at the time.

At this point my husband and I were very frustrated and didn’t know where else to turn. Daniel’s tics continued to get worse and it was affecting his self-esteem. His teachers and coaches began to express their concern as well. He tried to control the tics at school and it became overwhelming and stressful for him. My mother had suggested a more unconventional approach, so we came to the Dr.Ying. During our consultation with Dr. Ying, she decided a course of action treatment. It was a very warm and friendly environment made Daniel feel very comfortable. The eye blinking stopped after a few acupuncture treatments. The other tics were more “stubborn” , so, she decided on a more aggressive approach. She increased the acupuncture to three times a week. Dr. Ying were very committed to Daniel’s treatment. After three months we started to see a significant improvement. The tics were less severe and there was more time in between the tics. She started waning Daniel off the treatments slowly. It has now been four months and the tics are gone. Daniel is happy and more confident now.

We are so grateful for the help we received from Dr.Ying . I would advise anyone who is up against similar medical conditions or any other adverse circumstances to seek help with Dr. Ying . I admit that I was very, very skeptical at first. Even during the treatments I was impatient and unbelieving. Fortunately we stayed the course and we are so happy with the results.

When trying to become pregnant after many years on birth control, I decided to use acupuncture to naturally support my body’s health. When selecting an acupuncturist near Locust Valley, Dr. Ying came very highly recommended and had both late evening hours and took weekend appointments. I started to see Dr. Ying in Jan of 2014; I believe I went in the day after New Year’s Eve - ready for a change! ( I had been trying to become pregnant for 4 months and I am 33 years old ). Dr. Ying first started with general acupuncture techniques and then each month she would add a new element. In February, I had my FSH levels tested and they were healthy. So, Dr. Ying put me on the stem-acupuncture twice a week before ovulation and during ovulation. She also gave my husband treatments to assure he was healthy and releasing strong sperm. By March 2014 we were pregnant!

Dr. Ying defiantly helped my pregnancy process and the overall effects of acupuncture on female health were super beneficial. She has lovely bedside manner and is sensitive when ‘ poking ‘ with the needles and has a great sense of humor. I would recommend Dr. Ying for pain, pregnancy support, and overall relaxation/health. My name is Professor Robert Hodge and I am one of Dr.Ying's acupuncture patients. Before I became a law professor, I worked for seven years in various hospitals as a special attendant because all of my life I wanted to grow up and become a doctor. Obviously, I changed my mind and went to law school instead, and I have just completed 26 years of teaching Criminal Law full time and 33 years of adjunct law teaching.

I have multiple serious medical issues and would like to speak about some of them. I am diabetic, type II, I had a car accident where my right knee collided into the steering column, and I have cataracts in both eyes and premature curvature of my upper spine. I have several doctors and therapists and recently added Dr. Ying to my retinue of healers. I presented with three major problems: loss of balance while walking which means I need a cane to keep from falling down, lack of feeling and some neuropathy in my hands and feet, some nerve damage to my hands because of the pressure on my spinal cord and related issues.

Since I see Dr. Ying , all of my doctors and therapists agree that her treatments have helped speed the recovery of my body. The balance issue has improved the most since I started her treatments and I can actually lift my cane and walk unassisted ten or even twenty feet without fear of falling. My last fall happened during the winter's snow storm and I feel my balance is about 80% better.

My feet have just about completed regained feelings and there's no noticeable tingling at all in my feet. A side issue of ankle swelling presented itself about two months ago, and thanks to her treatments, the swelling is now virtually non- existent!

The tingling in my hands and fingers is proving to be more difficult in treating, but I feel them improving with each treatment. She introduced electrical stimulation with my hands and I feel this is improving the conditions of my hands. I also am a private classical piano teacher and I really look forward to regaining full control of my hands so I can play my favorite Chopin and Bach piano pieces !

Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with my treatments with Dr. Ying and most enthusiastically recommend her acupuncture treatments to everyone with absolutely no reservations whatsoever !
